Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation moved to May 2

Pageant fans have to make changes in their plans for the Labor Day weekend as the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines Coronation moves to a new date.
Originally scheduled on May 1, the final competition of the national pageant will now instead be held on May 2. It will still take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
“We appreciate your understanding for this necessary schedule adjustment. This adjustment allows sufficient time for venue preparation and ensures the proper staging and production of the coronation night,” the pageant organization posted on social media.
Gates will open at 6 p.m., while the show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., the organization said. Tickets are now on sale.
Reigning queen Ahtisa Manalo will crown her successor at the end of the ceremonies. Fifty delegates from across the country and from overseas Filipino communities are vying for her title.
Meanwhile, the ladies are set to head north for the national costume competition show scheduled on April 16 in Pangasinan.
The presentation will take place at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center. “The stage is set for a celebration of culture, creativity, and Filipino identity,” the national organization posted.
“Witness our Miss Universe Philippines 2026 delegates bring their stories to life in the National Costume competition, live from Urdaneta City,” the organization added. /ra
