Rico Blanco takes on first leading man role, pairs up with Sue Ramirez

Rico Blanco is set to star alongside Sue Ramirez in the romantic comedy film “Project B,” where he will portray his first-ever leading man role.
The upcoming movie was announced by Regal Entertainment through its Instagram page on Thursday, April 9, sharing photos from the project’s recent story conference.
According to Regal, the film will feature the OPM singer as the love interest of Ramirez, who will play “a driven, type-A woman with a carefully crafted life plan—one that includes finding the ideal ‘baby daddy.'”
“‘Project B’ blends a unique premise with relatable themes on modern relationships, career ambitions, and building one’s own version of family—all wrapped in romance, humor, and heart,” the caption further read.
“With the fresh pairing of Sue Ramirez and Rico Blanco, the film revisits the charm of classic early 2000s romantic comedies, reimagined for today’s generation,” it added. “In the midst of adulting and responsibility, ‘Project B’ reminds us that there is always room for love—and a little kilig.”
