The public may go on a virtual tour of the country through the series of videos from the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines delegates dubbed “Her Story and Heritage.”

Posted on Maundy Thursday, April 2, the videos dropped on the official YouTube channel of Empire Philippines, organizer of the annual search for the country’s Miss Universe representative.

In the videos, the delegates bared bits about themselves, such as their backgrounds, major accomplishments, advocacies, and aspirations in life and for their families. Curiously, however, two delegates were not featured — Kathleen Dale Casenas from Batangas and Imelda Schweighart from Kalibo, Aklan.

Another part of the delegates’ video entries showcased the heritage of their respective hometowns, depicting the vibrant culture of the Philippines, as well as the magnificent destinations that the country boasts of.

Snippets from outside the country were alse featured in the video presentations of the delegates fielded by overseas Filipino societies, who also concurrently represent their respective families’ hometowns in the Philippines.

Through the series of videos, fans and avid pageant followers got to catch a more in-depth look into the lives of the delegates taking part in this year’s competition, discovering their personalities and uncovering the different facets that make them unique.

The Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) posted the “Her Story and Heritage” video series just days before the official release of the preliminary evening gown performance videos of the delegates, for the first round of public voting that starts on Easter Sunday, April 5.

Reigning queen Ahtisa Manalo, who finished third runner-up in the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand last year, is set to crown her successor at the culmination of the national contest’s coronation show set to take place in Pasay City on May 1.

The eventual 2026 Miss Universe Philippines winner will be sent to the 75th Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico in November, and try to post the country’s fifth victory in the global tilt. /ra
