Bea Borres finally gave the public a glimpse of her daughter Hope’s face, saying it took her some time to do so because of how “cruel the online world is.”

The actress-content creator showed photos of her firstborn sleeping, through her Facebook page on Friday, March 20.

“I’m really really scared to post her pictures online, but her face is too beautiful to not share,” she said. “I love you, Pea. Ang ganda ganda mo.”

Borres also addressed speculations on why she had opted not to immediately share the face of her child to the public.

“A lot of people assume that I’m embarrassed of how she looks but the truth is I’m just afraid of how cruel the online world is,” she stated.

Appealing to netizens, she added, “Please be kind.”

Hope’s photos have so far garnered over 1.8 million Facebook reactions and over 26,000 comments.

In a separate post, Borres shared a comment from a netizen who complimented Hope and suggested that the content creator should have another child.

“Thanks but I’m done! Kayo na lang hehehe,” Borres said in response.

Borres gave birth to Hope in December, but only revealed it last Jan. 27. Just days after she introduced her baby to the public, the celebrity mom lamented how her child had already been subjected to online bashing. /ra
