Lella Ford supportive of brother Daniel Padilla, Kaila Estrada

Lella Ford has nothing but praises for Kaila Estrada, expressing her full support for the latter’s rumored romance with the former’s brother Daniel Padilla.

Ford spoke about her relationship with Padilla during the Star Magic Spotlight Presscon on Wednesday, March 18, admitting that the actor is quite strict when it comes to her.

“Before pa ko pumasok sa industry na ito, sinabi na niya sa akin na hindi puro rainbows and butterflies, na marami ring rollercoaster rides, ups and downs,” she said.

“Pinaalala niya sa akin na it’s not going to be easy so you have to love it at kailangan sigurado ako. But sobrang supportive po ni Kuya,” she underscored.

(Even before I entered this industry, he already told me that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies—that there would be a lot of rollercoaster rides, ups and downs. He reminded me that it’s not going to be easy, so I have to love it and to be really sure about it. But Kuya is very supportive.)

When asked about Padilla’s reminders about boys, Ford quipped, “Ang huling sinabi niya lang po sa akin, ‘Ayus-ayusin mo, Carmella.’ Na-gets ko na ‘yung ibig sabihin niya do’n.”

(The last thing he told me was, ‘Get yourself together, Carmella.’ I already understood what he meant by that.)

At the sidelines of the event, Ford was then asked about her relationship with Estrada, disclosing that the latter bonds with their family. The “Pinoy Big Brother” big winner also confirmed that she was present at the actress’ recent 30th birthday party.

“Si Ate Kai, grabe, she’s a role model. She’s someone na I really look up to, hindi lang sa acting but her as a person,” Ford said, describing Estrada as smart, eloquent and nice. “I love her.”

“Masaya lang po talaga ako for them. I’m so happy na she makes my brother happy,” Ford added.

While Padilla and Estrada have yet to outright confirm their relationship, the pair have been seen together in several instances. The actor also attended and delivered a song performance at Estrada’s recent party. /edv
