Andrea Brillantes’ mom admires daughter’s bravery amid ‘people loudly judging her’
Andrea Brillantes’ mother, Belle, marked the actress’ birthday by praising her bravery and admiring how she “blossomed into a fine woman” despite the hate thrown at her.
Belle dedicated a message to Andrea, who turned 23, through an Instagram post on Thursday, March 12.
“Happy Birthday to this brave girl. She did not just [grow] up in front of me and her family, but the whole nation watched her as she blossomed into this fine woman,” Belle wrote.
“She did not only become the most beautiful but she became the bravest too. She learned one of the hardest lessons in life, to be quiet in the time when people were loudly judging her,” she continued. “Now that she’s 23, she’s slowly learning to stand up for herself and find that voice she’s been keeping for years.”
Addressing her daughter, she added, “Keep inspiring all of us, my [love].”
Along with her message, Belle shared moments from when she sent off the actress to fly to Switzerland.
“It’s bitter sweet for me because she’s still my baby, but I had to let go because she will go out into the world and discover how life is so cruel but so so beautiful,” Belle added.

Meanwhile, Andrea recently drew criticisms after the supposed hacking of her Instagram page, which was eventually revealed as a marketing stunt for her new single “Gaga.”
Addressing remarks that the marketing was “underwhelming,” she said, “Maybe it feels underwhelming kasi may hinihintay talaga kayo. Leaked conversations. Chismis. Konting scandal. Konting downfall ni Andrea Brillantes. Napaghahalataan ang ugali ng iba d’yan.”
