Zanjoe Marudo on rumored wedding of ex-GF Bea Alonzo: ‘Happy for her’

Zanjoe Marudo is unsure whether rumors that his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo is getting married to business mogul Vincent Co are true, but he is nonetheless happy for her.

Asked for his reaction to Alonzo and Co’s rumored wedding during an ambush interview at the advanced screening of his new drama “The Silent Noise,” Marudo said he is happy for her.

“Totoo ba? Wala akong imbitasyon eh (Is it true? I don’t have an invitation),” he quipped.

The actor said he’s happy that his ex-girlfriend is happy.

“Yes, of course, finally diba? Lahat tayo, kailangan maging masaya na. ‘Yung mga batch natin, at least, ito, unti-unti na kaming nabubuo (Yes, of course, finally, right? We all need to be happy now. Our batch, at least, now feels complete),” he said.

Marudo and Alonzo were in a relationship from 2011 to 2016, and both expressed that their romance helped them grow into better versions of themselves. Both are currently happy with their respective partners, with the actor already married to Ria Atayde.

Reports of Alonzo and Co’s marital union made rounds after their marriage bann was read during Sunday Mass at the St. Peter the Apostle parish church in Manila last March 8. The couple, however, has yet to confirm or deny the reports /ra.
