The much-anticipated team-up of IU and Byeon Woo-seok is coming soon, as their romantic comedy series “Perfect Crown” is set to premiere on April 10.
Disney+ Korea announced in a press statement the premiere date of the upcoming K-drama, which will showcase the actors’ chemistry on the small screen for the first time.
“Perfect Crown” tells the story of Prince Yi Ahn (Woo-seok), the King’s second son, who gets entangled in a power struggle with members of the royal family. Out of pressure to get married, he enters into a union of convenience with Sung Hee-joo (IU), the second daughter and heir to a Korean conglomerate.

Their marriage is prompted by their respective inner struggles, until “emotions begin to flare” between them.
IU and Woo-seok were confirmed as the lead stars back in December 2024. The romantic comedy was included in the lineup of K-dramas set to premiere on the streaming giant two years later.
