The 2026 Miss World Philippines pageant will hold its coronation night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Tuesday evening, Feb. 3.
Twenty-four delegates from across the country and overseas Filipino communities are competing in this year’s pageant.
For those who will not be able to catch the show at the arena, the program will be streamed on the national pageant’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Five titles will be at stake: Miss World Philippines, Miss Global Philippines, Miss Tourism Philippines, Universal Woman Philippines, and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International Philippines.
Reigning Miss World Opal Suchata, Thailand’s first-ever winner, will attend the event, together with Julia Morley, head of the Miss World Organization.
This year’s competition was held more than a year after the last contest was held in July 2024. Seasoned contender Krishnah Gravidez took home the title.
No national contest was held last year because the Gravidez’s Miss World pageant was postponed several times. It finally took place in India in May last year.
Gravidez emerged as one of the two leading ladies from Asia and Oceania and finished in the Top 8. She also received the Miss World Asia title.
Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez will host the show, together with Universal Woman 2024 Maria Gigante and Miss World Philippines 2024 First Princess Jasmine Omay. /edv
