Dimples Romana elated over daughter’s first day on the job as pilot

Dimples Romana is celebrating a milestone in her family as her eldest daughter, Callie, marked her first day on the job as a pilot.
Romana took to Instagram on Monday, Jan. 19, to reflect on Callie’s journey from being a “shy, reserved, introverted child” to a young woman who has now “learned how to fly.”
“Now she soars and carries the flag of our tiny family out in the world!” wrote the actress. “Growing up she was always teased [for being too shy], even at one point was called out why she wanted to pursue a male dominated career. And yet years later, here comes our little Callie proving them all wrong.”
The celebrity mother underscored that Callie has “remained true to herself, still reserved and a bit shy, while confidently carving out her own path.”

Romana also thanked God for His “grace and provision,” as she expressed her family’s continued support for Callie alongside her husband, businessman Boyet Ahmee Perez, and their two sons, Alonzo and Elio.
The post drew supportive messages from netizens and fellow celebrities, including one comment Romana pinned on the top of the thread.
“I have always admired children from wealthy families who are involved in politics, business, or show business but still choose to create their own path. Instead of depending on money or connections, they work hard to build something for themselves,” wrote the commenter.

In 2024, Callie became a commercial pilot at age 20. She flew to Australia in March 2022 to study aviation. She passed her private pilot license exams in October of the same year and her first commercial license pilot exams in January 2023.
Meanwhile, Romana rose to fame for her portrayal of the iconic antagonist Daniela Mondragon in the drama series “Kadenang Ginto.” /ra
