LOOK: Joseph Marco earns praise after feeding homeless cat

Joseph Marco is earning online praise after he was spotted feeding a stray cat in Pangasinan.
Marco’s generous act was captured by Alshan Eihrin, who shared the photo in a Facebook group for cat lovers. The encounter took place outside a fitness gym in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
“What a humble person, Joseph Marco. Nakita ko [siya] pagbaba ko ng hagdan pinapakain nya ang homeless cat (I saw him, as I went down the stairs, feeding the homeless cat). God bless [sayo] Sobrang gwapo na, mabait pa (Not just handsome, but kind too),” wrote the netizen alongside the picture of the actor feeding the homeless cat.
The photo went viral on social media, with netizens praising the actor for his good deed toward animals.

Last year, Marco made headlines after he adopted a kitten he found on a street despite already having rescued a few cats in the past.
“I wasn’t planning on adopting any more. My hands are already full.” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “But yesterday, on my way home in the rain, I saw this tiny kitten, lost and all alone. And in that moment, I knew. When fate places a little soul in your path like that, you don’t turn away. So here we are. Welcome home, little angel. I’m so glad you found me.”
In 2023, Marco was praised by Sharon Cuneta, who called him a “saint” for saving a wounded cat that he chanced upon in the street in Makati.
The 37-year-old actor, meanwhile, was recently announced to topbill the upcoming live-action series adaptation of hit Wattpad story “My Husband Is a Mafia Boss,” opposite Rhen Escaño. It will be directed by Fifth Solomon.
Marco began his career through TV commercials before he transitioned to acting in 2007 appearing in the shows “La Vendetta” and “Dyesebel.”
He also appeared in the ABS-CBN’s shows “Sabel,” “Honesto,” “Pasión de Amor” and “Wildflower.” /ra
