Nikko Natividad’s child hospitalized after seizure during Japan trip

The family of Hashtags member Nikko Natividad is coping with a recent health scare after his son Aiz suddenly suffered a seizure while on vacation in Japan.
Natividad took to his Facebook page on Saturday, January 3, to recall how his son suddenly convulsed while they were eating at a restaurant.
“Nag seizure baby namin habang kumakain kame sa resto. Sobrang taranta namin at sumisigaw na para humingi ng tulong at ambulansya. Mahirap dahil hindi nila kami maintindihan kahit english. Buti at may ambulansyang malapit,” he said.
(Our baby suffered from a seizure while we were eating at a restaurant. We were really frazzled and were shouting for help and for someone to call an ambulance. It was hard because they couldn’t understand us even if we spoke in English. It’s a good thing there was an ambulance nearby.)
“Sobrang panlalambot ko at wala akong iba makita kung di ang anak ko lang na nakatirik na at halos 2mins syang hindi humihinga at nagkulay violet na (I felt so weak. I couldn’t see anything else except my child going stiff, and who stopped breathing and turned violet for two minutes),” he said.
The actor-comedian also reminded fellow tourists to take care whenever they visit Japan, as flu cases are currently high.
“Sa mga nandito rin sa japan mag ingat po tayo lalo na sa mga may bata at malakas pala ang viral infection ngayon at influenza dito sa Japan (Those who are in Japan, please be careful, especially those who are traveling with kids. Viral infections and flu in Japan is rising),” he said.
Luckily, Aiz has recovered and is back to his playful self, Natividad said.
“Maharot na ulit. Salamat sa prayers nyo (He’s naughty again. Thank you so much for your prayers),” Natividad wrote in a separate post.
Natividad and his non-showbiz wife Cielo Mae Eusebio, who tied the knot in 2021, welcomed Aiz in December 2024.
The couple also have an older son named Aiden Seagal. /edv
