Maja Salvador reveals daughter’s face for first time, vows her protection

Maja Salvador kicked off 2026 with a vow to protect the privacy of baby Maria, as she revealed the “one and only” photo showing her daughter’s face for the first time.
Salvador took to her Instagram page on Thursday, Jan. 1, to share a photo of Maria’s face during a family getaway to a snowy location.
“To our Maria, posting this one and only photo para ipakita namin sa buong mundo kung gaano kami ka proud sa pinakamalaking blessing na natanggap namin (so we can show the world how proud we are of this huge blessing that we received),” she said.

The “Wildflower” star also vowed that she and her husband Rambo Nuñez will protect Maria at all costs. She also reiterated that her daughter has a “choice” on how she wants to be known by the public at the right time.
“Pangako ni Mama and Dada na proprotektahan ka namin at ang privacy mo kahit anong mangyari anak. So when the time comes may choice ka kung paano mo gusto makilala ng mga tao. We love you so much anak!” she said.
(Mama and Dada promise to protect you and your privacy, no matter what happens. So when the time comes, you have the choice on how you want to be known by the public. We love you so much, our daughter.)
Maria’s striking features were warmly received by Salvador’s followers in the comments, including fellow celebrities Darren Espanto, Pauleen Luna, Enchong Dee, Jessy Mendiola and Ciara Sotto.

Salvador and Nuñez tied the knot in 2023 with two separate wedding ceremonies. They first said “I do” at a civil affair in February, then reaffirmed their commitment at a destination wedding in Bali, Indonesia, five months later.
The actress welcomed Maria in May 2024 and had long shielded her daughter’s face from the public before her reveal. /ra
