Dustin Yu sorry as busy schedules keep him, BFF David Licauco from hanging out

Dustin Yu apologized to his best friend and co-actor David Licauco for constantly being unavailable to hang out due to his busy schedule.
Yu extended his apology to Licauco on the December 12 broadcast of 24 Oras, after the latter admitted in an interview that he misses the “old Dustin” since the “Pinoy Big Brother” alum had always been unable to hang out with him.
“Sabi ko if there’s something na parang may nafe-feel siya, you can talk to me anytime… Part of me would also want to apologize kasi na-realize ko noong time na ‘yun, busy rin naman siya pero ako ‘yung hindi busy,” Yu said.
(I told him that if he feels bad about something, he can talk to me anytime. Part of me would also want to apologize because I realized at the time that he, too, was busy, but I wasn’t busy then.)
Yu added that he wanted to explain his side to Licauco.
“Ngayon busy kami both so ‘yun ‘yung gusto kong i-explain sa kanya,” he said. “As in wala na kaming time para lumabas pa, pero I get him super. Valid naman.”
(We’re both busy now and that’s what I want to explain to him. We really don’t have time to hang out, but I really get him. His concerns are valid.)
Yu and Licauco are known for being close friends on and off-screen and would always appear on each other’s social media platforms. They previously worked together in the Kapuso dramas “Pulang Araw” and “Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune.”
Yu is part of two 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries, namely, “Love You So Bad” and “Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Evil Origins.”
Meanwhile, Licauco is part of the upcoming GMA drama “Never Say Die” with Jillian Ward. /edv
