Enhypen donates P4 million for PH flood relief efforts

Enhypen and their label Belift Lab announced that they will donate P4 million to support flood recovery efforts in the Philippines, with the K-pop group saying the country “holds a special place in [their] hearts.”
Belift announced the K-pop septet’s donation in a press statement where the P4 million worth of donations are dedicated to “ aid recovery initiatives and community rebuilding efforts.”
“We became aware of the recent severe flooding affecting many communities across the Philippines, a country that has long been close to our hearts,” Enhypen said.
“We wanted to offer our support, even in a small way, and sincerely hope the contributions will be used to help those in need and assist in the ongoing recovery efforts. Our hearts are with the local community and fans during this challenging time,” they continued.

Meanwhile, the agency said the Philippines has long “been a place of deep significance” for the group and their team.
“The Philippines is where Enhypen held their first stadium concert in Southeast Asia, and it remains a place of deep significance to both the group and our team. We hope this donation will provide meaningful help to those affected by the recent floods,” it said.
The donation will be delivered through South Korea’s Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association in partnership with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation.
The septet — composed of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki — has fostered a strong relationship with the country and their Filipino fans. They have always visited the Philippines for concerts and brand-related engagements, including their first-ever stadium concert at the New Clark City Stadium in Tarlac in February 2024.
Formed by the reality competition series “I-Land,” the seven-member group debuted in November 2020 with their first EP “Border: Day One.” Some of their hit songs include “Bite Me,” “Polaroid Love” and “XO.” /ra
