What K-dramas await IU, Ji Chang-wook, Suzy, Kim Seon-ho for 2026?

The year 2026 is shaping up to be jampacked for K-drama fans, as IU, Ji Chang-wook, Suzy, and Kim Seon-ho are some of the actors confirmed to lead several Korean series that will be released in the coming year.
Several upcoming K-dramas were announced by the Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific at its Originals Preview event at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on Thursday, November 13, where invited guests were given sneak peeks and previews of what they can expect from their favorite Korean celebrities in 2026.
Here are the some of the K-dramas that were revealed by the platform:
‘Perfect Crown’ starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok

IU and Byeon are confirmed to lead the Park Joon-hwa and Yu Ah-in-helmed series “Perfect Crown” where they will star as Hee-ju and Grand Prince Wan, respectively.
Set in a “reimagined modern-day Korea,” the romantic comedy tells the story of Wan (Byeon) finding himself in a power struggle with members of the royal family. The Grand Prince — in a quest to reestablish his power and fulfill his duty to marry — gets into an agreement with Hee-ju (IU), an heir to a major conglomerate, to marry for convenience.
‘Merry Berry Love’ starring Ji Chang-wook and Mio Imada

Also revealed at the preview was “Merry Berry Love” which centers on the “cross-cultural romance” between a Korean spatial designer and a strawberry farmer.
Shot in South Korea and Japan, the upcoming drama tells the story of Lee Yu-bin (Ji) and Karin Shirahama (Imada) who find love after getting trapped in a remote Japanese island.
‘A Shop for Killers’ season 2 starring Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun

A second installment of “A Shop for Killers” was also confirmed at the preview with Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun reprising their roles as Jeong Jin-man and Jeong Ji-an, respectively. Also joining them are Masaki Okada and Hyun-ri which teases an expansion of the world that was built in season one.
‘Portraits of Delusion’ starring Bae Suzy and Kim Seon-ho

Six years after “Start-Up,” Bae Suzy and Kim Seon-ho will reunite in the period mystery drama “Portraits of Delusion,” an adaptation of a webtoon with the same name.
Set in Gyeongseong (currently known as Seoul) in 1935, Yun Il-bo (Kim) was commissioned to create a painting of Song Jeong-hwa (Bae) whom he eventually gets enchanted by. However, Jeong-hwa’s decades-long disappearance remains a mystery sparking an endless string of rumors. Il-bo’s obsession leads him in a desperate search for the truth behind her absence.
‘Gold Land’ starring Park Bo-young and Lee Hyun-wook
