Mutya ng Pilipinas 2025: Pauline Amelinckx, Ganiel Krishnan return as hosts

The 2025 Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant will hold its coronation night on Monday , Nov. 17. at the FilOil Centre in San Juan City, where the two previous editions were also held.

Miss Supranational 2023 first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, who was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas-Global Beauty Queen in 2018, will return as host for the second year in a row.

Also returning as host is another Mutya queen, broadcaster Ganiel Krishnan who was second runner-up in the 2016 Miss Asia Pacific International pageant.

The two former Mutya ng Pilipinas titleholders will share hosting chores with actor and host Nico Locco. P-Pop boy group Formula 5 will perform.

Also set to perform are Kier, Shone Ejusa, Oliver Agustin, and “Idol Philippines” winner Khimo, who also sang at last year’s competition.

Thirty-two candidates from different towns, cities, and provinces, and overseas Filipino communities are competing for in this year’s pageant. 

Five titles will be awarded–Mutya ng Pilipinas-Intecontinental, Mutya ng Pilipinas-World Top Model, Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism International, Mutya ng Pilipinas-Overseas Communities, and Mutya ng Pilipinas-Charity.

The pageant is celebrating its 57th anniversary this year. Established in 1968, it is the second longest-running national competition in the country. /edv
