Star Magic warns vs fake ‘help’ quote attributed to Kathryn Bernardo
Star Magic informed the public about a viral false post claiming to quote Kathryn Bernardo giving a reminder about extending help to other people.
The talent management company released a statement on the matter via its Instagram page on Tuesday, Nov. 11, showing a screenshot of the fake post from a Facebook account under the name “ShowBuzz.”
The post included a photo of Bernardo interacting with fans while seemingly giving away donations. The caption included the remark: “Kathryn Bernardo nanawagan na tumulong ng taos-puso at hindi para sa camera o social media.”

In the photo, it also put the quote “Hindi kailangan ng camera para tumulong,” seemingly implying that the actress supposedly said it. (You don’t need a camera when helping other people.)
Star Magic stressed that Bernardo did not say such a statement.
“Star Magic would like to inform the public that our artist Kathryn Bernardo did not make the remark that is circulating on social media,” the company said. “We ask everyone not to share the fake post and verify information before sharing.”
Bernardo shared the same statement via her Instagram Stories.
Upon checking on Facebook, the post with the false quote is still up on the platform as of this writing. /edv
