‘Sang’gre’ recap: Terra meets Mitena
Terra and Mitena had an unexpected encounter while they were both in the forest, and they were unaware of each other’s identities.
Here’s a recap of what happened in the GMA TV series in the past week:
Mitena regained her consciousness but not her strength and powers. Devastated by this, she ran away to the forest and was found by Terra. Terra, who was not aware of Mitena’s identity, was in the wild due to the earthquake.
Seeing Mitena’s injuries, Terra offered to help and invited the former to come with her to their camp. Mitena refused, but the young Sang’gre insisted on helping her and even treated her with herbal medicine.
Mitena later realized that Terra — who introduced herself to the former as Naya — actually did not know her. Despite this, the former shooed her away after the Sang’gre expressed her disgust toward Mitena as the usurper. Terra stayed and cared for her.
Meanwhile, Pirena, Flamarra and Adamus, who have been searching for Terra, were informed by a fairy of the death of the three twin spirits. The fairy also relayed to them the supposed death of Mitena, but Pirena did not believe it.
While alone in the forest, Terra got to know more about Mitena and her tragic past as the latter — who introduced herself as Samina — spoke about herself in third person. Mitena was also moved by Terra’s kindness and concern for her, which built friendship between them.
The two of them parted ways as Terra returned to her camp and reunited with her fellow Sang’gres. Mitena, for her part, was found by her loyal soldier and was told to hide.
The Sang’gres’ camp was attacked by Zaur and his soldiers who aimed to get the Brilyante ng Apoy from Pirena. He failed as the Sang’gres were able to flee using ivictus.
The gem keepers went to seek the help of the Akashic (ancient book) to find out how to revive the powers of the gem amid the deaths of the twin spirits. However, they could not open the book as it requires genuine unity among the new gem keepers.
The Sang’gres then embarked on a journey to Devas to ask Bathalang Emre for help. /ra
