Matteo Guidicelli vows to be better husband to Sarah Geronimo on 12th anniversary
Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo celebrated their 12th year as a couple, with the actor reflecting on the challenges they conquered and that made their relationship stronger.
Guidicelli marked the occasion with a greeting to the actress-singer via his Instagram page on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The post includes a photo of them from their trips abroad.
“Twelve years and one day to forever with you, my love,” he said in the caption. “Life isn’t perfect, but with God’s grace it’s beautiful. Life gives us wisdom, every trial strengthens us.”
“Each day I strive to be a better husband to you and to live with love, faith, and gratitude,” he added.
Fellow celebrities including Vina Morales and Ryan Agoncillo also celebrated the couple’s relationship milestone.

Guidicelli and Geronimo started dating in 2013 but only confirmed their relationship to the public in 2014. The pair then got married in a secret wedding in February 2020.
In a 2024 interview, Geronimo opened up about their plans of having a child. The singer confessed that while she is excited to have an addition to their family, she fears she is not “equipped” enough to be a mother.
“Open book naman po sa tao na late bloomer po ako. Medyo may mga doubts na gano’n, pero if ibibigay ni Lord, okay naman po ako — if it’s really His will,” she said at the time.
