Andi Eigenmann slams ‘madungis’ remarks on her kids: ‘Messy but living fully’
Andi Eigenmann responded to unsolicited netizen comments about her children apparently “looking dirty,” with the celebrity mom stressing she prefers them being “messy from living fully” than “clean from sitting still.”
Eigenmann had documented her children Lilo and Koa picking flowers while walking to their preschool in Siargao, through a video on her Instagram page on Thursday, Sept. 4.
In the clip, Lilo and Koa are comfortable in their t-shirts, shorts and slippers while carrying their colorful backpacks.

The video was then apparently bombarded with comments from netizens pointing out the “madungis” (dirty) appearance of the kids, which prompted Eigenmann to speak up via her Instagram Stories.
“The amount of people who comment about my kids looking madungis (dirty)…are most likely the same type of people who have children stuck on their iPads all day, eating fast/ junk food for all three mealtimes (and probably more), and then throw huge fits whenever things don’t go their way,” she said.
“No parent is perfect, but I’d rather mine be messy from living fully, than clean from sitting still and being disconnected from it,” she underscored.
In the post’s comments section, several netizens and fellow parents shared similar sentiments as the celebrity mom’s.
Aside from Lilo and Koa, whom Eigenmann shares with her celebrity surfer fiancé Philmar Alipayo, the celebrity mom has an older daughter with actor Jake Ejercito named Ellie. /ra
