Janno Gibbs apologizes to Bing Loyzaga for being unfaithful to her

Janno Gibbs made a public apology to his wife, Bing Loyzaga, for being unfaithful to her at some point in their marriage. Gibbs added that while he apologized to Loyzaga in private, he felt that it was not enough to make up for his mistakes.
Gibbs and Loyzaga discussed his infidelity on their YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 27, with the actor-singer asking his wife how many times she had caught him cheating on her.
Opting not to fully disclose the details, the actress whispered about certain encounters in his ear, leading to Gibbs asking his wife if she indeed remembered them.
“Of course. Kasi magaling ako. Gusto mo pa bang magbanggit pa ako?” she said in response. “Naaalala mo nung na swangit? Siyempre swangit. Alangan namang mas maganda sila sa’kin.”
(Of course, because I’m good. Do you want me to enumerate them? Do you remember that ugly woman? Of course, she’s ugly. Why would I say they’re prettier than me?)
Gibbs then opened up about a certain moment where Loyzaga caught him and his other woman. “Isa ‘to sa pinakamatinding huli ko. Nagte-taping ako, meron akong pasusundo… then dumating yung driver ko. ‘Sir. Nasundo ko na po. Nasa kotse po.’”
“Labas ako ng taping. Pagbukas ko ng van. Siyempre, na-expect ko ’yung pinasundo kong girl. Nand’un ’yung girl, pero nandun din si Bing sa loob ng kotse,” he continued. “Lumabas ’yung kaluluwa ko, ’yung puso ko, ’yung utak ko, lumuha ang pw*t ko. Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nabuhay pa paglabas ko ng kotse. Pero ’yun lang, ’yun lang akong ikukwento ko.”
(This is one of the worst times I’ve been caught. I was taping, then I asked my driver to pick someone up. My driver came, saying, “Sir, I picked her up. She’s inside the car.” I left the taping location and opened the van. Of course, I expected the girl to be there. The girl was there, but Bing was also inside the car. My soul, heart, and mind left my body. My butt teared up. I don’t know how I was still alive when I left the car. But that’s it. I can only share that.)
Current setup
After sharing his side of the story, Gibbs revealed that he and Loyzaga chose to separate for the time being, and they live in separate townhouses. However, neither of them clarified whether they had already broken up.
“After all the hurt, matagal tayong naghiwalay. Yes. I’ve said this in my latest interviews. Medyo inamin ko na. Siyempre, of course, hindi namin pina-publicize,” he said. “Medyo pinagtatakpan namin. Dahil not to lie to everyone but for our peace. For our privacy.”

Loyzaga agreed with her husband’s remarks, reiterating the importance of not “washing one’s dirty linens” in public. She added that their current dynamic “works for them” as it helps them “keep the friendship.”
“Buti nga ngayon, sa gantong panahon, marami nang nakaka-accept ng mga iba’t-ibang klase mga pamilya. Diba? Meron, marami nang blended, may extended. Diba? Meron na iba-ibang version,” she said. “Kami, ’yung dynamic na ‘yun is what worked for us. What we believe could help our children. What we believe can still keep, at least the friendship together. Kahit hindi kami magkasama talaga.”
(It’s a good thing that the public is more aware that different kinds of families exist. There are blended and extended families. There are different versions of it. For us, this is the dynamic that worked for us. What we believe could help our children. What we believe can still keep, at least, the friendship together. Even if we’re not together.)
Public apology
Noting that he and Loyzaga are not yet fully okay, Gibbs then publicly apologized to his wife for the hurt he had inflicted on her in the past.
“Kinekwento namin ‘to not to make light of things, hindi para paliitin ang epekto, para pagtawanan, and most of all, hindi para i-glorify yung pambababae. And of course, I have apologized to you one million times, and it will never be enough,” he said.
“But I think hindi pa naririnig ng public. I’d like the public to hear that I am sorry for all the hurt I have inflicted on them. I mean, you’ve heard it from me personally, but in front of them,” he continued.
(We’re telling this not to make light of things, not to dampen its effects, not to make a joke of it, and most of all, not to glorify being a womanizer. And of course, I have apologized to you one million times, and it will never be enough. But what I want the public to hear is that I am sorry for all the hurt I have inflicted on them. I mean, you’ve heard it from me personally, but in front of them.)

Loyzaga said she “appreciates” Gibbs’ apology in response, noting that he never stopped fulfilling his duties as a father. She added that she still believes that they still “make a good team.”
“Dini-discuss natin ito because we went through it and beyond it already. Gusto ko rin pag-usapan ito, parang malaman ng mga kababaihan na hindi tama. Okay ang masaktan. Okay ang magreklamo. Okay kang magalit, karapatan mo ‘yun. Okay ka rin umalis, tumalikod, huminga. Pero bago ang lahat, magdasal ka. Kasi kung hindi maganda ang pananampalataya mo, hindi mo kakayanin daanan ang lahat niyan,” she said.

At the end of their conversation, Gibbs asked Loyzaga if they had already gotten back together, leaving the video with an open ending.
