Anne Curtis, Jericho Rosales to reunite for new movie ‘The Loved One’

After 14 years since they last appeared on the big screen, Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales are set to reunite for their comeback movie, “The Loved One.”
“The Loved One” will be directed by Irene Villamor, whose last work was the May-December romance drama “Only We Know,” starring Dingdong Dantes and Charo Santos.
Villamor is also known for her romantic films such as “Meet Me in St. Gallen,” “On Vodka, Beers and Regrets,” ” Five Breakups and a Romance” and “Sid and Aya: Not a Love Story.”
Filming for “The Loved One” is expected to wrap this month. As of writing, plot details, exact release date and other cast members have not been announced.
The new movie will be produced by Viva Films.
Rosales and Curtis first worked in the 2008 romantic war film and Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Baler.” It won 10 awards including Best Picture and Best Actress for Curtis.
“Baler” tells the story of Feliza Reyes (Curtis), a woman in love with a Spanish-Filipino trooper, Celso Resurreccion (Rosales), set during the Siege of Baler in the Spanish Era.
The duo also worked in the drama series “Green Rose” in 2011.
Last year, Rosales and Curtis first hinted that they were working on a new project after they posted a photo of them having dinner with Villamor.
Meanwhile, Rosales was last seen in the revenge drama series “Lavender Fields,” while Curtis is currently starring in the Philippine adaptation of the series “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.” /ra
