Vivian Velez seemingly threw shade at Vice Ganda after she made a post slamming a certain “Kabayong Clown” (clown horse) and called on her followers to boycott the brands the latter endorses.

While she did not name Vice Ganda as the object of her disdain, Velez made a list of products and brands — from fast-food chain, e-commerce platform, skincare and makeup line to processed goods — that she urged her followers not to patronize.

“Alam na this. Huwag mong i-promote o subukan ang mga produktong ito hanggang sa alisin nila ang ‘Kabayong Clown,'” she wrote on her Facebook page last Tuesday, Aug. 12.

(You know the drill. Do not promote or use these products until they remove the clown horse as their endorser.)

In separate posts, Velez even promoted another processed food brand and fast-food chain as she spoke against those supposedly involved with the “clown horse.”

While Velez did not name names, it can be noticed that the brands she enumerated have one endorser in common — the TV host-comedian.

Coincidentally, Velez’s series of posts also came after Vice Ganda blurted out jokes that made references to former President Rodrigo Duterte during his recent concert through the now viral “jetski holiday” skit, wherein he made fun of the latter’s failed campaign promise to defend the country from China by riding a jetski to the West Philippine Sea.

Velez, a staunch supporter of Duterte, noticeably shared a Facebook reel as well that featured Sen. Rodante Marcoleta supposedly speaking against Vice Ganda.

“An army of locked profiles and trolls swarms like flies after the kabayong clown’s disrespect toward Tatay Digong (Duterte). Who’s the puppeteer behind him?” she said in another post.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda earlier returned to “It’s Showtime” after a few days of being absent. He has yet to publicly address the public’s mixed reactions toward his joke, as of writing. /ra
