Bea Borres reminds her followers: ‘Being a young mom shouldn’t be normalized’
Days after announcing her pregnancy, Bea Borres, 22, addressed her “young girl audience” and underscored how “being a young mom shouldn’t be normalized.”
The actress-content creator, who admitted she was not ready for the pregnancy, said this through her Facebook page on Friday, Aug. 15. The reminder came with a glimpse of how Borres had struggled emotionally and mentally before she has fully accepted that she is going to be a mother.
“I just wanna share the importance of having a great support system… This has been a long journey of acceptance because I was facing it alone at first, but there’s nothing I want more now than to finally meet my baby,” she said.
Borres credited her family and friends anew for being with her on her pregnancy journey, saying she is lucky to have someone like them.
But despite this, Borres made a clarification: “I just want to make it clear that being a young mom shouldn’t be normalized.”
“To my young girl audience, please always practice being safe,” she stressed. “I just really got lucky because I have a great support system.”
Borres, who earlier seemingly made a lowkey confirmation of the identity of her child’s father, said she is not co-parenting her baby with anyone. /ra
