Dustin Yu on ‘situationship’ with Bianca de Vera: ‘Hindi pa kami’

Dustin Yu is not yet prepared to label what he shares with Bianca de Vera, saying he has yet to romantically pursue her despite the bond that they shared inside the “Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)” house.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel on Thursday, July 31, Yu set the record straight on his relationship with de Vera, when asked if he is already romantically pursuing the Kapamilya actress.

“We’re not together. I’m already excited at the point of me courting her. But for now, I don’t want to lose the bond we formed at the Bahay ni Kuya,” he said.

Diaz then asked him outright if their relationship already has a label. “There is no label yet,” Yusaid in response.

The actor-businessman also clarified that he didn’t intend to form a “love team” with de Vera in the “PBB” house, saying their friendship was real.

“When we were in the Bahay ni Kuya, we had no love team. It was real. We built such a strong friendship. We relied on each other. Bianca was the one who helped me throughout my journey, she made things lighter. It was hard inside the Bahay ni Kuya. It was exhausting,” he said.

Yu also said he considers himself lucky to have de Vera by his side.

“I went through a lot of challenges, but I was so lucky that Bianca was there for me. It was not just a love team. We built our bond from scratch,” he said.

Dubbed as DustBia or DusBi, Yu and de Vera were the final celebrity duo to be evicted from the “PBB” House. They recently graced the 2025 edition of the GMA Gala as a pair.

Aside from Yu, de Vera is shipped by fans with Kapuso actor Will Ashley, due to them being an onscreen tandem in the drama “Unbreak My Heart.”

During a post-”PBB” media con, Yu said he is open to working with de Vera and Ashley for a possible project. He added that he has worked with Ashley before in “Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters,” so building a professional relationship wouldn’t be a problem. /edv
