Klea Pineda denied Janella Salvador’s involvement in her breakup with Katrice Kierulf after the “Under Parallel Skies” star was tagged as the alleged third party in the separation.
In a sideline interview during the GMA Gala 2025 on Saturday, as posted in a clip shared by GMA News, Pineda explained that her closeness with Salvador was due to their collaboration on a movie.
“I’m aware of what’s happening, but I keep saying that there’s no third party. My closeness with Janella is inevitable because we worked together on a film. The third party issue, come on, guys, stop it already,” she said.
Prior to Pineda’s interview, Salvador intrigued netizens with a cryptic post, hinting at “speaking about something at the right time.”
On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “You will hear from me. Right place, right time.”
You will hear from me. Right place, right time.

Salvador was recently dragged into the breakup of Pineda and Kierulf after the latter liked comments on TikTok that referred to the Kapamilya actress as the “other party.”
Pineda and Salvador have worked together on the upcoming sapphic film “Open Endings,” which also stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Leanne Mamonong. It is set to premiere at the Cinemalaya Film Festival this October.
On July 18, Pineda confirmed her split from Kierulf after a three-year relationship. At the time, she said she and her ex-girlfriend were given a “short time” to be together, yet expressed how grateful she was for the chance they had.
Pineda came out as a lesbian in March 2023 during her 24th birthday. She met Kierulf, an influencer, on TikTok. /edv
