‘All of Us Are Dead’ season 2 starts production with returning cast, new faces

The sophomore season of the hit Korean series “All of Us Are Dead” has kicked off its production, with lead stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun and Lomon making their return.
Netflix Korea announced on its social media platforms Wednesday, July 23, that production for “All of Us Are Dead” season two has begun. The announcement came three years after the hit zombie series’ premiere.
The posts included photos of the cast during a script-reading session and their brief interactions with a zombie-fied actor.
Joining Park (Nam On-jo), Yoon (Lee Cheong-san), Cho (Choi Nam-ra) and Lomon (Lee Soo-hyuk) as the season’s new faces are Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Yoon Ga-i and Roh Jae-weon.

According to the streaming service, “All of Us Are Dead” season two will focus on Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) as a university student still healing from the trauma dealt by the zombie apocalypse at Hyosan High School. Another zombie outbreak hits, and On-jo is forced to survive.
Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young) was also confirmed to be alive. However, he, Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun) and Lee Soo-hyuk (Lomon) are grappling with the effects of the outbreak.
Filmmakers Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su also returned to co-direct the series, while Chun Sung-il again writes the script.
Based on the webtoon by Joo Dong-geun, the series premiered in 2022. /ra
