Mika Salamanca set to release album
After her resurfaced song covers that went viral on social media, Mika Salamanca is set to show more of her singing chops through the upcoming release of her album under Star Music.
The “Pinoy Big Brother” big winner made the announcement through a video shared by the record label on its Instagram page on Wednesday, July 16.
In the clip, Salamanca faked a stumble and sang the first few lines of Sarah Geronimo’s “Sino Nga Ba Siya” — a reference to her old song cover.
“Di ko inisip… na matutuloy na ‘yung album!” she exclaimed, eliciting cheers from her companions in the video. (I didn’t think that the album release would push through!)
Star Music, for its part, warmly welcomed Salamanca, saying, “Welcome back to the fam, our Big Winner.”
“Watch out for her music soon!” it added.

Salamanca emerged as the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab” Big Winner, alongside her duo partner Brent Manalo. She won ₱1 million from the competition, which she donated to an orphanage in Pampanga. /ra
