Jennylyn Mercado’s entry to the “Salamin, Salamin” dance challenge may be a bit late, but she still earned praises from fans for her groove and BINI getup.

Mercado danced to the chorus of the girl group’s hit song, as seen in the video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

“Hi! Ako nga pala si (I am) BINI-LYN Mercado,” she quipped in the caption.

Mercado wore a white longsleeve overlayed with a denim crop top as well as lbaggy denim pants adorned with colorful patterns and sparkly embellishments.

The actress revealed that her ensemble was the actual costume worn by BINI member Mikha in some of the scenes in “Salamin, Salamin” official music video.

In Mercado’s video, she also gave a glimpse of her visit to ABS-CBN Music Creative Director Jonathan Manalo, saying she dressed up for the latter’s birthday.

“Salamin, Salamin” dance challenge trended on social media earlier this year, with entries not just from Filipino fans but from netizens from other countries as well.

Meanwhile, Mercado was previously featured in GMA’s 2024 Christmas Station ID. The actress’ appearance marked her return to the Kapuso network’s Christmas campaign after months of speculations on her rumored network transfer.
