Agot Isidro, Erik Matti react to Sara Duterte’s kill remark vs Marcoses, Romualdez

Actress Agot Isidro and director Erik Matti have joined the conversation reacting to Vice President Sara Duterte’s “kill order” against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., his wife, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and Speaker Martin Romualdez — a public threat that generated buzz domestically and globally. 

Isidro, who’s known for being vocal about her political stance, seemingly weighed in on Duterte’s viral video, saying that the voters appeared to have been scammed given the recent events.

“Just saw the video. The voters really got scammed. To those who voted for the right, raise your hand,” she remarked.

Isidro openly campaigned for former Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Francis Pangilinan during the 2022 presidential elections. The actress also previously called out Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa after the latter admitted being biased toward former president Rodrigo Duterte’s ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue in 2020.

‘New series to watch out for’

Meanwhile, Matti humored himself by recounting the events involving Duterte, specifically the “active threat” she made against Marcos Jr., describing it as a “series” to watch out for.

Premieres Monday,” he captioned his post alongside a screengrab of Duterte’s early morning video on Saturday.

On Saturday morning, Duterte held an online press conference where she said that if she were to be killed, she had already commissioned someone to assassinate Marcos and the First Lady, and his cousin, Romualdez. She added that this order was “no joke.”

Duterte is currently facing an investigation before the House of Representatives over her office’s spending of her confidential funds. She eventually decided to spend the night at the Batasang Pambansa complex, in the office of her brother, Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte,” to “protect her staff.”
