Pia Wurtzbach meets First Lady Liza Marcos for NGO

LoveYourself PH ambassador Pia Wurtzbach met First Lady Liza Marcos, with whom she discussed the plans of the non-governmental organization for HIV awareness.
Marcos showed moments from their meeting through her Instagram page on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
“I stand with LoveYourself and Ms. Pia Wurtzbach in their mission to raise awareness and provide support for people with HIV/AIDS,” the First Lady said.
“Thank you for creating safe, compassionate spaces and offering life-changing resources to empower those who need it most,” she continued.

The beauty queen then re-shared Marcos’ post via her Instagram Stories, expressing her gratitude for the latter’s time.
Article continues after this advertisement“The work we’re doing at LoveYourself PH is making a real difference, and we were excited to share our achievements and future plans with the First Lady,” Wurtzbach said. “We also discussed ways to strengthen our efforts and collaboration with the government, as we believe the fight against HIV-AIDS is a national priority.”

Marcos will also be in attendance at the Love Gala, a charity gala where Wurtzbach will auction off her pageant sashes, journals and Miss Universe 2015 Top 15 dress.
“Letting them go doesn’t mean they don’t matter to me. They do… I have a plan of turning them into something more memorable and lasting.” the beauty queen said.
