The journalist provided another update on Aquino’s condition on his Instagram page on Sunday, October 27, saying she will go through a medical procedure at the Makati Medical Center.

“She called to inform me that she’ll be confined at the Makati Medical Center for another procedure. It made me guilty because I needed to cheer her up, but she was the one who did it for me. She said that she wanted to join the relief operations for Kristine, but it’s her who needs to undergo an operation at Makati Med.)

The writer-editor, however, didn’t disclose what kind of treatment Aquino will undergo at the time.

Aquino earlier made headlines after revealing that she underwent a cancer scare, but she ultimately turned out to be cancer-free. Despite this, she’s still battling with “possibly six” autoimmune conditions, three of them being life-threatening for her.
