Heart Evangelista after topping Paris Fashion Week list: ‘Not a rat race’

Heart Evangelista has landed on top of the latest celebrity list for this year’s Paris Fashion Week, but she stressed that it’s not a “rat race,” as numbers should not “determine” one’s worth.

The fashion influencer took to Instagram to remind her followers that while it’s important to be grateful for recognitions, they should know that they change.

“Numbers, ratings, and likes will always change. [They] should never determine your worth. (If by chance you make it, be thankful to those who blessed you with love),” she began her caption.

Evangelista underscored that the most important thing is kindness and taking one’s time because it’s not a race. 

“Be kind (sometimes it’s the hardest thing to do) but kindness will always win. It’s not how fast you get there. It’s all part of the story. The show of your life is NOT going to end with 1 season; after all, there has got to be more. So don’t rush! You’re on your own path. Take your time; it’s not a rat race,” she emphasized.

According to data released by Launchmetrics, a marketing and technology company, Evangelista delivered a whopping $10.6 million in media impact value (MIV) after she appeared in high-profile shows at the Paris Fashion Week.

MIV “tallies the impact of relevant media placements on online, social, and print, inclusive of paid, owned, and earned mediums,” Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) explained.

The actress-fashionista graced 19 shows at this year’s Paris Fashion Week. She also championed Original Pinoy Music (OPM) in her content, as she used them as background music in her videos, bringing nostalgia and pride to her Filipino fans. 

Meanwhile, beauty queen-actress Pia Wurtzbach landed on the No, 3 spot of the said list.

Actress Anne Curtis and Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee also made their debuts at this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
