K-pop girl group ITZY gearing for October comeback as a complete unit
ITZY will return in October as a full group, a representative from their label JYP Entertainment confirmed on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
The K-pop girl group’s upcoming comeback was first reported by Korean media outlet TenAsia before it was confirmed by the music label on the same day.
Lia, as JYP told fans in July 2024, will resume activities starting with the new album as her condition has improved significantly. She also made her first appearance on the group’s YouTube live last July 2024, after taking a break due to anxiety.
The group’s last album in Korea was its eighth mini-album “Born To Be” which came out in January. Their latest was “Algorhythm,” which is their third single in Japan, which came out in May.
ITZY wrapped up its second international tour named after the eighth EP last month. The tour began in Seoul in February and took the four members to 28 cities. In November, the group will host a fan meetup in Seoul as a full group.

ITZY is best known for their hit songs “Dalla Dalla,” “Icy,” “Wannabe,” “Mafia in the Morning,” and “Not Shy,” to name a few.
