Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung to face off in upcoming series ‘Made in Korea’
Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung are confirmed as the leads of the upcoming crime thriller “Made in Korea,” in which the South Korean actors are expected to have a “dramatic onscreen showdown.”
Hyun and Jung’s casting was announced in a statement by a Korean streaming platform. While the K-drama is set to premiere sometime in 2025, details on their castmates and complete storyline are yet to be revealed.
The series centers on Kitae (Jung) and Geonyoung (Hyun) as they find themselves in an “era-defining incident” that will dictate their lives. Kitae is described as someone greedy for “wealth and power,” but Geonyoung — who works as a professor — will be the person who’ll get in his way.
The script of “Made in Korea” will be written by Park Eun-kyo and Park Joon-seok, while filmmaker Woo Min-ho will serve as the director.
