Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno clapped back at a netizen who accused her brother of having his nose done surgically.

Filomeno proudly congratulated her brother for finishing college and shared snaps from the ceremony.

“I’m so lucky that you get to call me ‘Ate,'” she began. “Rio, no words can describe how proud we are of you. You’re now opening a new chapter of your life. Know that we will always be here for you through thick and thin. Especially, okay? Life would be so hard without you in it. Everything that I do, I do for you, my best friend.”

However, despite the positive post, one netizen commented and accused the actress’ brother of having his nose fixed.

“Mukhang nagpaayos na din ng nose si brother (it looks like the brother has also had his nose fixed),” said the netizen.

Filomeno responded, “Nope, natural na natural ‘yan (it’s very natural). Idk (I don’t know) what your intention is because clearly this post is nothing but positivity.”

The “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) alumna has always been open about undergoing cosmetic enhancements, specifically a nose job, which she did not out of a medical concern, but mainly because she just wanted it.

In the past, Filomeno weighed in on how Filipinos condemned plastic surgeries.

“Bakit parang dine-degrade mo ang lahat ng tao nagparetoke parang ang sama-sama naming tao? Una sa lahat wala po tayong ine-encourage at wala po ako sinasabi o wala po tayong sinasabi na ito ang tamang gawin,” she explained in a TikTok post at the time.

(Why do you seem to degrade the people who opted for plastic surgery as if we are bad people? First of all, we are not encouraging anyone, and I am not saying anything or saying that this is the right thing to do.)

She pointed out that having enhancements done on one’s face or body should not be looked down on if it gives one confidence and happiness.
