Yassi Pressman, Ruru Madrid open to pair up again after ‘Black Rider’

Weeks before the finale of their TV series “Black Rider,” lead stars Ruru Madrid and Yassi Pressman declared that they’re willing to be onscreen partners again should there be offers for other projects.
Madrid and Pressman, who also starred as a pair in the 2023 film “Video City: Be Kind, Please Rewind,” were asked if they are open to possibilities of pairing up again during the media conference for the finale of the GMA TV series on Saturday, July 13.
“Oo naman po,” Pressman immediately responded.
Madrid, for his part, said, “Yes, definitely.”
“Ever since na nakatrabaho ko si Yassi, sobrang laging magaan lang,” the actor continued. “She’s very dedicated sa craft niya at I would say na napakasarap makatrabaho ang isang taong binubuhos lahat ng kanyang makakaya para mapaganda ang eksena.”
Madrid further commended the actress for being collaborative and for always exerting effort to ensure their scenes would turn out exemplary.
“If ever na may offer, wala naman pong ibang dahilan para hindi namin tanggapin,” he noted.
The onscreen partners also expressed their willingness to be part of the “Black Rider” cast again if the TV series would have a second season.
“Nabibitin pa nga po kami. Parang nalulungkot pa po everyone especially the past few taping days,” Pressman said. “Kami po as actors and friends, parang nabi-build pa lang po ‘yung relationships namin together… But with the time that we have, we’re making the most of it.”
Aside from Madrid and Pressman, other cast members who were present at the media conference were Jon Lucas, Raymond Bagatsing, Rio Locsin, Herlene Budol and Empoy Marquez.
