Barbie Forteza, David Licauco got mistaken for real-life couple by Arlene Muhlach
Barbie Forteza and David Licauco’s co-star, Arlene Muhlach, revealed that she thought that the two were actual real-life partners given their convincing on-screen chemistry.
In her recent interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Muhlach was asked about her experience working with Forteza and Licauco in the movie “That Kind of Love.”
“Kinikilig ako ‘pag ginagawa nila mga eksena nila, sa totoo lang. And I didn’t even know na they had their own partners,” she shared.
The “Walang Hanggang” actress said that she even asked the two if they were officially a couple, until another co-star corrected her that the two were not dating in real life.
“There was this media con nga that we did; nagkamali-mali ako kaya sabi ko sorry to all your partners. I just didn’t know,” she said. “Sabi ko, ‘Kayo na ba?'”

“Nung na-busy and syempre, nakaramdam ako ng konting guilt towards him because I have to admit—hindi naman ito parang bago—I had to set him aside kasi nag-pick up ang BarDa,” she said.
In 2023, Licauco admitted that she would court Forteza if she was single.
“I like smart, go-getter na mga babae, and I like cute girls, simple lang. Gano’n si Barbie, so yeah [I’ll court her],” he said at the time.
Licauco recently revealed that he’s in a relationship without saying who’s his partner. Meanwhile, Forteza and Roberto marked their seventh year as a couple on May 20.
