Pop star Britney Spears announced on social media that all her jewelry was stolen, hinting at a possible home robbery.

On Instagram, the “Sometimes” singer posted a video of her opening and closing her jewelry boxes that were nearly emptied, except for the sight of a Mother Mary jewelry item.

“I’ll show you guys for real. All my jewelry was stolen. See. It’s nothing,” she said in the video posted on May 26. “I’m scared. It’s all gone. All my jewelry is gone.”

In her caption, Spears expressed her fear of buying any more new jewelry, given that some of the items she previously owned were personally made for her.

“It’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing. So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me,” she wrote.

The pop icon revealed that even the pieces she had when she was young were stolen as well: “My baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone. It’s so thin.”

This is not the first time that the “Baby One More Time” singer has suspected she’s been robbed at her own home.

In August 2021, Page Six exclusively reported that Spears called the authorities to report a theft at her Thousands Oaks, Calif., mansion, where she still currently resides.

“She called and wanted to report some type of theft,” Ventura County Sheriff’s Office’s media relations officer, Capt. Eric Buschow, told the US media at the time.

“When deputies arrived and contacted her security staff, they informed the deputies that Ms. Spears decided she did not want to file a report at that time. And so, deputies left,” they added.
