‘New life’: Dianne Medina, Rodjun Cruz await arrival of second child

For news anchor-actress Dianne Medina and her husband Rodjun Cruz, Easter Sunday is a “celebration of new life” as they look forward to the arrival of their second child.
Medina and Cruz announced in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, March 31, that they’re expecting their second child, showing their photo with their firstborn, Joaquin. In the photo Cruz is holding a photo of the baby’s ultrasound.
“Easter is all about [a] celebration of New Life. Today, as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are also celebrating this gift of NEW LIFE inside me! We are immensely happy to announce that I’m 6 months pregnant,” they wrote.

The couple then thanked the Lord for their new blessing, saying Easter Sunday is a “fitting moment” to announce Medina’s sixth month of pregnancy.
Article continues after this advertisement“We couldn’t be more thankful to our God for blessing us [with] this baby on the way, and we thought it’s just fitting to share this with you all on Easter day. Please pray for us on this journey. Happy Easter! Thank you LORD! So happy,” they said.
Article continues after this advertisementIn a separate post, Medina recalled she and her husband opted to announce the news anchor’s pregnancies on Easter Sunday while bringing glory to God.
“Thank you Almighty Father! All Glory and Honor is yours,” she said in the caption.

The couple’s milestone was congratulated by fellow celebrities in their comments, including Rodjun’s brother Rayver, Maja Salvador, Julie Anne San Jose, Yasmien Kurdi, Rocco Nacino, Carla Abellana, Charee Pineda, Shaira Diaz, Claudine Barretto and Andrea Torres.

Medina and Cruz tied the knot at the Manila Cathedral in December 2019. They welcomed their first child Joaquin in September 2020.
