Chris Evans, Alba Baptista make red carpet debut as married couple

Power couple Chris Evans and Alba Baptista made their first official appearance as a couple six months after they tied the knot. 

During Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party on Sunday, March 10 (March 11 in the Philippines), the newlyweds stepped out looking stunning as they posed for the photographers hand-and-hand.

On the sidelines of the A-listed Hollywood party, the couple were also spotted doing a public display of affection (PDA) as they locked lips now and then.

The year 2023 was eventful for the couple, as it was the year they confirmed their relationship via Instagram, got engaged, and held their intimate wedding. 

Since 2021, the two have remained private about their relationship, and they were only seen together in public via paparazzi photos. 

During the New York Comic Con last year, Evans made a rare comment about his married life and shared a few details about their wedding. 

“I got married,” he said. “It was really, really great. We kinda had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast. We did one in Portugal. My wife’s Portuguese. Yeah, go Portugal!”

The “Captain America” actor remarked that the difficult part was over as he and his wife are currently on the honeymoon stage, enjoying their life as newly married. 

“It’s a lot planning for a wedding. Now that we’re through that, we’ve just kinda been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favorite season. It’s, like, the best time of year right now. Now we’re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting,” he shared. 

Evans also opened up in his past interview with People Magazine that he plans to build a family as soon as he can. 

The magazine also reported that the two first met when Evans was filming his movie “The Gray Man” while the actress was doing the second season of her Netflix series “Warrior Nun.”

Baptista and Evans shared a 16-year gap, with the Marvel actor being 42 and the actress being 26.
