The family opted to keep details of her inurnment strictly private, as Eigenmann previously appealed for “respect and privacy” to allow their family to properly grieve its loss.
During her week-long wake, Eigenmann expressed her gratitude to fellow celebrities and industry workers who took time off their busy schedules to visit Jose’s wake at the Arlington Memorial Chapel in Quezon City.
“Maraming salamat sa pagpunta. Every day, it warms my heart. It has been helping me so much better to cope to see how many people cared for and loved my mother,” she said. “Especially I know how big my mother’s heart has been. All her life, it has always been about love, it has always been about sharing love, being so passionate about love. Love for everyone else around her.”
