Yugyeom, the beloved maknae of the globally acclaimed South Korean group GOT7, has officially unveiled his highly anticipated debut solo studio album, “Trust Me.”

GOT7’s youngest member also dropped the music video of the album’s lead single, “1 Minute,” along with a dance challenge shared on his social media accounts.

Yugyeom first teased the full-length record on Jan. 16, coinciding with GOT7’s celebration of its tenth anniversary in the music industry.

A day before the album’s official release, Yugyeom held a listening party that saw a star-studded lineup of attendees, including fellow GOT7 member BamBam, actor Song Kang, ATEEZ’s Mingi, and SEVENTEEN members DK, Mingyu, The8, Vernon, and Woozi.

Several artists wrote congratulatory messages to Yugyeom for the successful release of his latest album, including BLACKPINK’s Jennie and fellow GOT7 members JAY B, Jinyoung, and Youngjae.

The album serves as his latest musical production after releasing his single album “Lolo” in July of last year.

Following GOT7’s exit from its original company, JYP Entertainment, Yugyeom has pursued a solo career with the renowned hip hop and R&B label AOMG. To date, he has released one extended play (EP), his debut solo effort “Point of View: U” in July 2021, along with two single albums, including “Take You Down” in March 2022.

Two months after the latter’s release, Yugyeom and his fellow GOT7 members reunited to release their self-titled EP, featuring the lead single “NANANA.” This stands as GOT7’s first and only musical production as a group since the members left their former label to establish their individual solo careers.
