Madonna shares stage with Fil-Am drag queen Manila Luzon in US concert
Filipino-American drag queen Manila Luzon couldn’t contain her joy after she joined her “supreme idol” Madonna in the latter’s “The Celebration Tour” show in Minnesota, performing the singer’s hit song “Vogue.”
The drag artist showed moments from their performance through her Instagram page on Friday, Feb. 16.
“VOGUE! I still haven’t woken up from this dream!” she said in the caption. “My supreme idol Madonna invited me to join her on stage at her St. Paul Minnesota show for her ‘Celebration Tour’!”

Manila, in a separate post, spoke about how the Queen of Pop has been her “biggest inspiration” in her drag and artistic life.
Article continues after this advertisement“One of the reasons I named myself MANILA is because it has the same number of syllables as Madonna’s name,” she shared, adding how her performance with the American singer also included two of the drag queen’s friends.
“This was such a full circle moment for me!” Manila added.

Madonna launched her “The Celebration Tour” to mark her 40th anniversary as the “Queen of Pop.” Her concert jump-started in October 2023, months after the singer was hospitalized due to a bacterial infection.
Meanwhile, Manila also recently met Filipino comedian Vice Ganda during a visit to the noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
Manila rose into popularity after competing in the American reality drag competition “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season three, “All Stars 1” and “All Stars 4.” She is currently the host and chief judge of “Drag Den Philippines.”
