Pia Magalona didn’t forget her late husband Francis Magalona on Valentine’s Day as she dedicated him the song “My Funny Valentine” which, she said, best describes the late rapper.

Pia expressed her love for Francis by sharing a photo of them when they were younger through her Instagram page on Thursday, Feb. 15.

Captioning her post with a few lines from the Frank Sinatra song, she wrote, “My funny valentine/ Sweet comic valentine/ You make me smile with my heart/ Your looks are laughable/ Unphotographable/ Yet you’re my favorite work of art”

“Francis loved to sing Frank Sinatra, so here’s a song by ol’ blue eyes (for the ol’ red or pinkeye lol) that best fits this photo of him,” she added. “I love you.”

Pia also noticeably tagged in her post her eight children, namely Maxene, Frank, Saab, Elmo, Arkin, Clara, Unna and Nicolo.

It can be recalled that in the latter part of 2023, the Magalona family was hounded by controversy. This was after one Abegail Rait claimed that she had a relationship with the late Master Rapper, and that they allegedly have a love child named Gaile Francesca.

Rait apologized to the Magalona family for the pain her revelation caused them, although she asserted that Francis was “single” and that he was already separated from Pia when their secret relationship started.

While Pia opted not to comment on the matter, Maxene and Frank seemed to have alluded to the matter via their social media pages. In October, Frank liked a tweet criticizing Rait for making her affair with Francis public.

Maxene, for her part, shared a cryptic quote about forgiving one’s parents because “they were learning too.”
