Pia Wurtzbach’s makeup artists have ‘no derogatory records’ in PH immigration — source
While Pia Wurtzbach’s makeup artists Jeck Aguilar and Justin Louise Soriano do not have derogatory records at the Bureau of Immigration (BI), a source disclosed that the two might have a “do not board” order from Dubai, which was the reason why they were not able to board their earlier Dubai flight.
In a vlog by Ogie Diaz last Jan. 23, the comedian-talent manager cited sources claiming that Aguilar and Soriano were not able to fly to Dubai—where they were supposed to meet Wurtzbach and fashion designer Mark Bumgarner—because hold departure orders (HDO) were allegedly issued against the makeup artists.
Some were then curious if the HDO had something to do with the makeup artists’ falling-out with their former client, actress-fashion personality Heart Evangelista.
It can be recalled that Evangelista, Aguilar and Soriano made headlines in 2023 after the actress allegedly fired the two for supposedly “maxing out” her credit card and spending her money. However, the actress has yet to confirm or deny these claims as of this writing.
Meanwhile, an airport insider told the INQUIRER.net that the celebrity makeup artists were not able to go through the immigration process because they were already held back at the check-in counter.

(Dubai has an advance passenger information system (APIS) so if they are not allowed to board the flight, they won’t be able to check in.)
“No derogatory record daw both names sa Philippine immigration kaso mukhang sa Dubai sila may derogatory record,” the insider added. “Sa airline pa lang may ‘do not board’ na sila.”
(Aguilar and Soriano] do not have derogatory records at the BI, but it appears that they have in Dubai. They had a “do not board” order from the airline.)
Aguilar has yet to publicly speak up on the matter as of this writing. Soriano, however, seemed to have alluded to the claims via his Instagram page.
“We missed you with Queen Pia. [Hope] everything’s okay,” one @mamaed_lovesto_decorate commented on Soriano’s recent post, to which he replied, “Everything will be okay.”
