Stranger Things fans threaten to boycott Season 5 after Noah Schnapp’s Zionism video
Fans of the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” threatened to boycott the upcoming Season 5 after one of its main actors faced backlash due to his political or ideological leanings.
Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in the sci-fi series, is experiencing a major blow after a video of him with his friends with pro-Zionist paraphernalia went viral on social media.
In the video, Schnapp was seen smiling and recording those around him as they held up stickers with “Zionism Is Sexy” and “Hamas Is Isis” in the text. The video was tagged as insensitive amid the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict over Gaza Strip.
As global ceasefire is called, fans are trying to compel the Netflix management to have Schnapp removed from the cast of “Stranger Things,” as they seek a total boycott of the show’s final season.

“The very least we can do is totally boycott the upcoming season of Stranger Things on Netflix. If Bella Hadid can lose modeling contracts merely for standing up for Palestine, Noah Schnapp should not be allowed to get away after wholeheartedly endorsing a genocide,” one user argued.

“I can’t stress this enough, but we need to boycott Scream, Stranger Things, and every other production involving these Zionists who put out genocidal statements and had people fired from their jobs,” wrote another user.

Schnapp, in October, penned a lengthy message on his Instagram: “As a Jewish American, I am afraid for my brothers and sisters in Israel, who have been senselessly attacked by Hamas. I am truly heartbroken to see the brutal murders of innocent children, women, and soldiers fighting to defend themselves.”
The actor is just one of the many celebrities who showed support for Israel following the Hamas attack, namely Natalie Portman, Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Chris Pine, among others. Schnapp, however, one-upped the others by saying they either stand with Israel or stands with terrorism.
“I hope we can agree that Hamas is a recognized terrorist organization; they don’t represent the Palestinian people when they value murdering Israelis more than protecting their own. You either stand with Israel or you stand with terrorism. It shouldn’t be a difficult choice. Shame on you,” concluded Schnapp.
