BTS’ RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook begin process to join military

RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook of K-pop supergroup BTS have begun the enlistment process for their mandatory military service, their talent label Big Hit Music confirmed.

“We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have initiated the military enlistment process,” read the statement released by the agency on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

“The artists are preparing to fulfill their military service duties. We will inform you of further updates in due course,” it added, asking fans for their “continued love and support” for the K-pop stars. “Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artists.”

RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are the last in the septet to enlist in the military, following Jin in December 2022, J-Hope in April 2023 and Suga in September 2023.
