Anne Curtis underscored that she feels confident and blessed to have full and pouty lips, hushing a netizen who seemingly tried to offend her by calling her “big lips.”

Last Saturday night, a jet-lagged Curtis took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to ask, “Are peeps still awake at this hour?”

She immediately garnered responses from X users including one @winter_Snowcold, who said, “Medyo papansin ‘tong big lips na ‘to. Kulang na lang ipa-surgeon mo ‘yang bunganga [mo].” (This [person with] big lips is hungry for attention. You might as well [undergo a surgery] for your mouth.)

The “It’s Showtime” host then replied, “Hindi ko kailangan ng (I don’t need a) surgeon or any doctor [because] I was born and blessed with these lips or Bunganga (mouth) as you say,” adding a face-blowing-a-kiss emoji.

After getting noticed by the actress, the X user appeared to have taken down the tweet but screenshots of it have already been re-uploaded on the platform.

Fans then commended Curtis for flaunting confidence amid naysayers, with one @cooleth_yessha saying that the actress-TV host was one of the reasons she came to love her facial features.

Meanwhile, Curtis earlier flew to France and attended her first-ever Paris Fashion Week. The actress-TV host, as expected, stunned fans and fellow celebrities with her “Annegelic” look, which she showed via her Instagram page.  /ra
